1. Acceptance of these terms. By accessing or using kodamalabs.io (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Everything published on kodamalabs.io — including the Economic Outlook, the compound interest calculator, any other calculators, charts, articles, lists, roadmaps, and commentary — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation, endorsement, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security, asset, product, or service. Calculator outputs are hypothetical estimates based solely on the inputs you provide; they are not predictions and do not reflect fees, taxes, slippage, or real-world conditions. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a licensed professional who knows your full situation before acting on anything you read here.

4. No fiduciary or advisory relationship. Your use of the Site does not create a fiduciary, broker-dealer, investment-adviser, attorney-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Kodama Labs.

5. Third-party content and links. The Site may reference or link to third-party websites, data sources, products, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices, or terms. Linking does not imply endorsement.

6. Acceptable use. You agree not to:

• use the Site in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Site, its servers, or its networks;
• bypass, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, or access-control features;
• scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data at a rate or in a manner that degrades the Site for other users;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
• republish, resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Site content without our prior written permission;
• submit false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful content; or
• use the Site or its outputs to provide regulated financial, legal, or tax advice to others.

7. User submissions. If you send us feedback, ideas, or other submissions, you grant Kodama Labs a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate them into our products and content without obligation or compensation to you.

8. Intellectual property. The Site and its content — including text, articles, branding, logos, design, layout, code, and tools — are owned by Kodama Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may quote short excerpts of the Outlook with clear attribution and a link back to the original page; all other reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative works requires our prior written permission.

9. Accounts and access. Some features may require an account or access credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or pose a risk to the Site or other users.

10. Beta and free tools. Some tools, calculators, and content on the Site are offered free of charge and may be experimental, incomplete, or change without notice. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without liability to you.

11. No warranties. THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT, ESTIMATE, OR DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

12. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KODAMA LABS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kodama Labs and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the state in which Kodama Labs is principally located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

15. Informal resolution. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at development@kodamalabs.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

16. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

17. Severability and entire agreement. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kodama Labs regarding the Site.
